March 15, 2020 We spent the night at Camping World, the last item we needed was our Microwave/Convection Oven. We left Camping World in San Marcos and came to Bolsa Chica State Park which is just south of Long Beach. It is beautiful here we had giant kites and a wonderful sunset.

Got up this morning 3/16 MY SONS BIRTHDAY and we headed north to Santa Barbara. We are staying here 2 nights then moving on north.

The trip north was interesting, went along the coast, then inland on 101, alot of farming. Could not tell what was growing but saw alot of crops and some pickers.

Pismo Beach is in Oceano and we are here about 1 block from the beach, with a lagoon behind us. .

People walk, drive, horseback ride, rent quads and other off road vehicles, windsurf, (Drive their RV’s, campers & toy haulers right on the beach) , camp and I am sure in the summer swim. Today is very windy so just drove around and checked the place out.

We have osprey, grackles, seagulls which are all noisy, but the people here are very quiet. The wind had died down on the 19th so we are thinking maybe we will stay here longer than the 8 days we were planning.

Because of the Virus we are staying here, there are few people, it’s quiet, the City is small, Oceano, Grover Beach and if we take another drive north we can go all the way up to San Luis Obispo, which is a much larger town but we are staying away from people.

Found more Pismo Beach here are the pictures: Here they are some Pismo and some Shell Beach and probably some duplicates. OH, Well what can I say…… I’ve been doing this too long.
